Here it's more like WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH (from the wind) No fireworks, sensible ban due to the fragile nature of our area. Nature's providing them anyway. :duck:

I know what's funny about the fourth of July: I have seen dozens of Hondas and toyotas, mostly civics and camrys with American flags attached to there windows and flying them. It's kind of an oxymoron, don't you think?

Well, some of them are built in the USA! Then there are "American" cars made in Mexico or Canada. The new Cadillac XTS is built in Mexico. Shameful. :(

Mine was built in Hamtramnck, MI. Despite the stories I've heard, my baby keeps on truckin.

Interest concept. IMO, a Camry is more American than a Camaro. A Camry is made in the US. That provides jobs here. A Camaro is assembled in Mexico or Canada. That does nothing for us.

You are correct. I do stand by your point.

The Camry is probably designed in Japan, mostly built with Japanese parts, assembled here and then most of the profits go back to Japan. Whereas the Camaro is probably designed in the US, made with mostly US parts, and most of the profits go back to the US company.
This whole global economy concept is crazy! :)
