The top trim on my Drivers rear door panel is separating from the door panel itself. The dealer stated it needed to be replaced. They ordered part number 20825647 (trim). Today they installed the new piece and guess what, it stills looks bad. So bad you can almost stick your baby finger behind the trim into the door panel. I spoke with the service manager and he stated he would speak with GM and open an RFI (whatever that is).
My question to all is if you look at your rear DRIVERS door does the trim on top look snug against the door panel or is it separating like mine. Needless to say I'm upset over the fact that the first time it was ordered the wrong part came in. And now it looks as bad as it did when I brought it in. The service manager and tech who worked on the car both agreed it did look bad. They stated it would take GM from 7 to 10 days to give an answer. Gee they must be very busy that no one can give an answer in less time than that. If there are any techs or Cadillac advisor's out there I'd love to hear from you. I'm sorry but I am a fanatic with my Caddy. Thanks everyone.
