The names moe. Ive been lurking on this site for about 2 years now. I own a 92 seville, polo green with chrome trim and 22 inch wheels. Im currently rebuilding the engine and doing some work to the transmission.

The car has 100k exactly, nice car aside from that it leaked coolant out of the front cover and overheated a bit one day. Same day that my transmission decided to leak at the input shaft and torque converter. So now im playing mechanic.

These cars are good looking and interesting. I used to race my old talon tsi awd and one day decided to slow it down a bit so now im here.

You also posted up in Seville - which engine does your car have - 4.9 or 4.6 ? It's not a 4.X

Hey Moe!

I love playin' with these trannies(4T60E).
You can use a 35-35 chain sprocket gear set and a 3.33:1 diff without throwing any codes to get more LIFT-OFF.
And do not use the FM8C converter. Replace it with the FY4B or equvilent. Higher stall & better lock-up clutch.
If you think the 4.9 has good torque now...

4.9 ohv.

I wanted to put an allante intake on it but its super hard to find one, and at a decent price; not to mention throwing the factory tune off and killing the mpg

The 4.9 wasn't really known for its MPG.

If you want "quicker" just get a Northstar engined car "93 to '95.

4.9L Sevilles can accumulate many hundreds of thousands of miles. I -loved- mine. It was a torque monster that got 25-26mpg on several road trips. Welcome to the forum. :)
