They're small chamber heads, so if you replace a pair of large chamber heads with them you'll end up with 13:1 or so compression.. I don't know what they'll do for or to 425s or 368s, I'm sure they have bigger ports but I don't know if they would work.
wonder if the car with 13:1 would run on AVgas.... 100LL that we have at the field...
$3.25/gal..... not bad at all compared to what you pay at the track.... for the same thing... and at about $1/gal more then 93 at the pump... not bad either...
I'm not sure about 100 low lead with 13:1, but propane at $1.50 or less/gal will. Actually, CC has the 76cc heads on a later model set of pistons and I think he can run pump gas - but he's also at 5000'ASL and I'm sure has taken out every precaution against detonation.
Thanks for the info.
I have been thinking about doing a propane conversion, so this might be the ticket.
Still in the info gathering / option considering stages, so more as the stomach turns..

My CDV actually has around 1/3 of a tank of 100LL in it at the moment... My dad works at an aircraft maintainence shop in Cali. I guess a plane came in and something was up with him having too much gas, or not being able to pay for it or something... I just know my Caddy ended up with a full tank of 100LL for free. Smells real nice sitting at an idle... Didn't notice much of a performance increase, but the gas milage from Palm Springs to Phoenix wasn't too shabby.
