There is someone selling a 2007 escalades with 180k miles (base models) for $18,500 obo on an online auction site.
Is buying a prior taxi high miles 2007 escalades esv's too good to pass up in this price range or is it risky business?
Personally I wouldn't ever buy ANY kind of used fleet vehicle.
No. A headache to maintain. Personal vehicle yes.
I wouldn't, for a few more thousand and a few hours of Internet searching you can find a similar vehicle with less miles and not a prior taxi.. Just my opinion.

Too many miles and not cared after to boot. I'd stay away.

Fleet vehicles normally receive the cheapest replacement parts. If it was a one owner personal vehicle, with maintenance records, I would say yes, but not a fleet vehicle. I bought my 07 with 129k, but it was a one owner truck, and he maintained it at our dealership. If you are still thinking about it, I would have it thoroughly inspected.
NO it will probably be problems, I purchased an 07' (needed test mule) with under 50k miles in great shape (looked like I owned it before) for under 18k, now it is a standard length model vs an ESV, but there are deals you just have to keep looking.

How much would a 100k mile 07 ESV with all the options (sunroof, nav, rear seat entertainment, 22", cooled seats, power folding) go for?

Happy you're thinking about that ESV, Rustico! I'd recommend consulting with a nearby dealership to explore your options. Have you already browsed around for pricing on our Certified Pre-Owned (http://www.cadillac.com/cpo-adsearch/) Site?
My email is Katie_Lucille@gmexpert.com if you have any additional questions!

Fleet trucks are better maintained than most personal trucks. I run a Shop and I am the fleet manager and I can tell you fllet trucks get repaired and service better than most people who owns them. We service ours every month and change the oil at 3000. If it needs brakes it gets them with new rotors and all. Never cheap parts. We have a inshop napa that supplies us our parts. Dont hate a fleet truck.

I am just now purchasing an 07 with 93K on it for $22K. I would keep looking.
Also, the truck I found is close to mint, one very picky owner, and near perfect, with every available option.
Only 1 chip in the paint, and 3 very minor scratches, that's it!
