Ok soooooo this is weird. This morning I start up the car to go get some gas before work. The A/C was blowing cold! The "auto" was on for both fan and ventilation. I turn the car off to pump gas. Turn the car back on A/C is running no problem. About a mile down the road I decided to smoke a cig. Open up the sunroof and turn off the A/C I then finish my cig and hit auto. The A/C turned on but did not blow out barely any cold air. The air coming out was cold but nothing was really coming out the dashboard vents. Sounds like something is clogged through the passage to coming out. The feet blow out fine as well as the defrost.

Sorry for the long message an I'm sure a lot of it could have been taken out. I just wanted you guys to know every detail. Thank you!

Sounds like it could be Emphysema from the cigs??

Is the snowflake lit on the display?

No. It's not. It's just theres no airflow coming through the vents. Like barely blowing through. Like its clogged

Sounds like u blew the blower motor. Does the rear hvac blow cold?

Yeah the rear blows no no problem. But how can I blow the motor if the feet blow no problem.

And also. Cold air blows out the dashboard vents but it's very faint. It honestly appears to be clogged

Stop smoking those left handed cigarettes!!!! LOL but seriously check your air setting to make sure they are in the proper mode to do what you want.

I think there are two blowers to provide the personalized climate control. Whether there's one with vent controls or two, blowers are now driven by IC's. You likely need diagnosis according to the shop manual procedures. Alldata may suffice.

Sooo I get off work and hit my remote start to cool off the car and to check to see if there was still a problem. I dunno what happened but the cadi fixed itself lol. The was airflow through the vents. Thank you guys for the help and ideas.

If air was flowing good to the floor and light at the vents then you may have a mode door actuator that is starting to go out. If i happens a few more times in the future you'll want to have a diagnostic scan done on the hvac system to check for proper movement on that door in the evaporator case.

There is still that old 'farting' vent door syndrome.

When all else fails, push the "Auto" button. This car is smarter than most owners.
