I'm looking at a 2011 sadan Recaro seats sun roof 6 speed. Back up cam. With only 5600 miles. It's got ECS/ stage 2 kit LPE 2.55 pully and air intake tube. Modded air box. Headers with stock mufflers. The kit says its good for 110+Rwhp What do you all thinks its worth. No power train warranty.

Backup cam is standard on 2011s. And no P/T warranty sounds like it would be worth the same amount as a V-Labs V.

Figure out what an engine and tranny costs, subtract that from what you would otherwise pay for the car...

Why no warranty? Is it in the Cadillac records as such or is the owner just guessing?

Honestly, the best thing about these cars is a new engine block can be in your V's bay for just a few grand. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Those mods should be mild enough to not affect long term durability...

Its for sale at a caddy dealer and they said they will not stand behind the p/t. No big deal but the price needs to be right. And at 61,500 I don't think it is?

I know I am going to be blamed for this but here goes:
I bought a 2011 sedan a week ago, black on black, recaro seats, 6MT, no sunroof, backup camera at 5000 miles (8000km - I am in Canada), no warranty, for $49000. The guy that sold the car to me bought it from a dealer in California (1600miles trip), paid 5% sales tax at the border. The car was used at the Cadillac driving academy for 2000miles, then it was salvaged by GM, sold at an auction to a dealer in California, retitled and sold to my guy. I had the car reinspected here before I bought it, zero issues, no curb rash, carfax checks out.
Here are the pictures, has the ZR1 badges, no scratches. I can buy a third party warranty but probably not. Everybody made a penny so you do the math.

$49K seems like a good price for 2011 V in Canada.
Where are you located?

I'm thinking retail on an 11 with those options is ~60. I would think getting it for 57 would be an OK deal IF it had a power train warranty. In this situation, I would not pay more than 52-53k since there is no p/t warranty and it is modified. The dealer is INSANE at 61.5. That V will be sitting for a looooonnnnnng time.

Umm...No they didn't. They may be factory ZR1 badges but they were never put on any V at the factory.

$61,500 without a PT warranty is WAY high. Give the dealer an offer for $54K and watch it sit on that lot for months and when they get tired of that and come back to you offer them $52K. NO warranty will scare off most (although it would not scare me). Dealers are smoking crack these days.

I would think that they were installed at the driving academy together with some other vehicles badges that were taken off.
George

the zr1 factory is not the same factory as the V. separated by 500+ miles. I also doubt they would have the badge in the first place and install it on a v.

Well, they certainly didn't come from pixie dust.

But they were never put on any Driving Labs cars. The Performance Academy and Driving Labs were promotional events. They would never slap on ricey badges and confuse the buying public.

You've been played, homie.
