I want 14 inch rotors in the front of my sts, anybody know if the bracket can be modded to do so and what's the part number for the mustang 2 piece rotors. I don't want the 6 lug v setup but I don't see anybody else with big brakes on here besides cts guys

JE5 brakes stop you like the hand of God reached out and grabbed you. You ought to be able to find all the stuff you need at www.car-parts.com (http://www.car-parts.com)

Can anyone explain, other than aesthetically, what a BBK would have over the JE5?

Is it really that much better than the JE5 system? I've owned numerous BBK's, but this JE5 system is brilliant. I don't see the advantage of a BBK over the JE5 on a daily driven STS unless you were auto-xing it (lol) or drive it really hard, but I don't have a BBK on my STS so I can't say I have any first hand experience.

Depends how you drive or what wheels/powe adders you have. With 550 hp on my SS Camaro the stock dual pistons were junk so I upgraded to z06 brakes. The STS is a pig and with all the poor divers on the road it's nice to be able to out stop them.

Ya know what they say about big brakes?

...... big pads!

I see only two points of view.

If I can't engage the ABS in a panic braking situation, a brake upgrade is worth considering.

If I can, it's just for show.
