The rears are about 1/4" from maxed out on how low they can go, the fronts could go lower but I don't see a need.

I'll start off by saying I could not be happier with this purchase! I've had cut D3 springs cut and uncut, Eibach springs cut and uncut, and now the KW's. The KW is a much more expensive option but for how low I want my car it could not be better! The overall ride quality is great, especially for how low the car is, its easily one of the best riding cars I've had. Not as good as factory but better then the D3 springs IMO.

Just to test the suspension and how real world drivable it really is I took my car to down town Dallas. Drove all around on those crappy roads, pulled in and out of parking lots, etc... The front splitter (which is trashed from the previous owner) will rub slightly going into huge inclined parking lots and garages. But if you drive right and avoid going places that only a truck should go lol the suspension combo works well. I'm actually very impressed with how well the car responds to being this low to the ground. If you aren't stupid its EASILY drivable at this height in real world conditions.

Next up is raising the front around 1/4" and doing a real alignment and corner balance. I think thats going to give this car a driving experience better then any other V I've had so far. Really looking forward to how it feels.

I think this coilover combo combined with a real drag pack wheel/tire setup and a few other small chassis tricks I have up my sleeve should produce some sub 1.45 or better 60ft times at the track. All while having a great riding car with no added suspension noise. Cant really beat that!

Really looking forward to seeing how the car is going to sit on the 21" ADV5.01's I ordered awhile back. They should be around 6 weeks out as of now.

HEY!

I didn't say you could copy my color scheme, off with you! There's only room for 1 Opulent blue black grille/wheel yellow caliper sedan in these parts!

How is the ride compared to the lowered magneride? I can't say I would be willing to slam it like that given the aluminum subframe and oil pan around here. The stock ride height for the V2 is almost as low as I can tolerate comming from a slammed B5. Virginia Parking lots seem to enjoy frequent use of 45 degree 2' drop exit ramps and 12'x4' high speed bumps. Along with the usual pot holes that could swallow a F250 and have room left over for a fiesta or two.

Honestly no, they won't be much larger then the overall diameter of my 19" package.

sorry, I just saw you commented on ride quality. Thanks, I must have been mesmerized from how the lighting is reflecting on your car; That's the deepest OB car I've ever seen.

Yes I used plastidip. Car goes to the paint shop ASAP for some work done and I'm iffy on going blue or gloss black to match the grills there.

I LOVE that color combo..OP and black/yellow..tho Id prefer orange calipers. I think I said the same to M5eater when he posted his. A few brands have similar shades...love'em!

Not that its entirely relavant, but I have the same coilover setup on my V6 and I couldnt be happier with them. I wish they were holding up a V, instead of a 6 tho. ;) Sorry...again, LOVE your V!

Yes,

KW > Eibach > D3.

If you want to get low, the only option is KW, the spring options for these cars are not low

Wow I love those vids. What mods are on that car? and how much does it make off the bottle?

It made 680-700 off spray and 800hp on spray with a touch over 1000 ft/lbs of torque at the tires. That car will be for sale soon and dead hooks everything on 19" MT's/stock wheels in the rear.

Junkie-which one had the best ride ? I"m on the original D3 springs and they creak and feel like @ss on the road. Especially after 20k miles put on them

Eibach > KW > D3 as far as ride quality goes. The Eibach springs and KW coil overs are very close in ride quality though. Id be willing to bet with the D3 springs your rear shocks are blown out and leaking, thats what happened to me and I had to replace the rear shocks.

Yeah your old car was fast. What mods do you have planned for this one and is it automatic?

Junkie414

Yeah your old car was fast. What mods do you have planned for this one and is it automatic?

Yes its an auto

-cam
-9.1/2.55 combo
-bigger HX
-bigger HX tank
-ported heads
-ported blower
-102mm TB
-ported snout
-New Era intake
-SW headers to off road X pipe
-ID850's
-boost a pump for now
-Nitrous outlet spray bar system
-Nitrous outlet standalone fuel system for nitrous
-custom drag pack by me
-smaller rear brakes
-delete front sway bar

Should make 660+ on boost alone/93. Then I hope to make 800 on a 100shot/93 octane.

When i get tired of that I will forge the motor and up it to a much larger nitrous jet or add Turbos

Car will also be sitting on 21" ADV5.01's very soon

My last car has had over 80 nitrous bottles through it. Compression and leak down are perfect! If its properly setup I think it'll hold just fine.

with the kw v3's what did you do for camber adjustments? I know on our cars we dont have the capability of adjusting hardly any camber from factory and I have not been able to find a camber kit that works with our vehicles. Very interested in the v3's have heard great things about them. Not so excited on running even more camber than i am already at ~2.5 degrees in the back.
