So since my EXT was lemoned law... Going to an auction I am told, someone will make out on a smoking deal with 3700 on the odo and all problems now fixed... But that is another story... So here the replacement, 2012 Sierra denali. I will say the power and tranny are really nice. Also the NAV is actually much better than the 2011. It has a 30gig HD, and better options and it looks like the interface has been upgraded and looks more professional and the map data appears to be stored on the HD and not a CF module. I put my tilting headrests in the truck, and the interior isn't quite as nice, but then again I saved 15k from the ext.

I liked the ext but not the problems. This is what I wanted first and the wife said no, but this time she didn't care and I got it with the 1500 mirrors. 2011 They really stepped up the game and won truck of the year so this should be a solid vehicle. Also the AC just really kicks the EXT in the butt... Every diesel it seems like the AC is better. Also I do like the selectable 4x4 option. Hard to pass up close to cadi interior with a bullet proof engine and drive train... I did take the rear cover and deep 6l80e aluminum pan and spark plugs wires off the ext and my dash mat and a few other things I need to sell cheap.... But about MSRP out the door on a 2012 Duramax denali 2500HD with sunroof, nav, power rear window slider and a 10 year 120,000mile warranty(no deductable if I go back to the selling dealer or $100 everywhere else) OTD was about right for me. The guy sold me the truck and only made about 200 on it because he was the owner and knew the situation and wanted to keep us as a GM customer and was just a good guy.

But even the 12' Escalade's were must better than any year so far and I have had them all, there is so little interior noise anymore even with long tube headers and B&B exhaust if the windows are not down it sounds like my 07' Escalade did stock in terms on interior noise. Yea I wanted the GMC but no GMC dealer would give a dime off in my area, and Chevy's I get at cost. I never had any issues with my Escalade AC, of course I always make sure it's correct to the lb, and it does make a difference as compared to beening a lb or two low. Yea they sure are not like trucks anymore in the way the drive. :)

I wish I could get the chevy's at cost... My ext was a base one, so this is a step up in a lot of ways. Heated wheel standard, not that one needs that in AZ. I did upgrade to factory 22's but let them go when they bought it back as I had sold the factory 18's already... This will be fine for the 5,000 miles I am going to put on it a year for now. Soon the wife's G8 will be my play toy, and maybe I will start working on my 51 chevy 2 door hard top again...
