I want to go to GM parts direct to buy stock rear shocks to use with a Eibach lowering kit. I understand that Corsa is a approved vendor for their exhaust system. Does anybody know these part nos. for 04 CTS?? I still am confused about the shocks but it appears that the load levelors got to go.
Excellent forum here. It is nice to see people take a interest in improving the performance and looks of their machine. I live in St. Louis. home of "BIGFOOT". :helpless: Great if your going to put a lift kit on your CTS!!

Don't know about the Corsa exhaust but the FE2 shock was discussed in this thread:

Mannyiac, I had the same thing done -Eibach Lowering and Exhaust (Went with Magnaflow though, not Corsa, although I heard nothing but great stuff about Corsa -may switch later). In any event, I had to change my load leveling shocks to stock CTS shocks. Here is the part number for CTS stock rear shocks - 25770612. Also, check out the ride and see how she sits with the Eibach at:

Nice car Paul. I got my spoiler today. Was it hard to cut out the back bumper for the split exhaust tips? How smooth is the ride with the Eibach at highway speed? I was worried that with 18's I would bottom out..Guess you answered that..It is gonna work!!

They are an officially licensed supplier. But I don't believe this means it has a GM part number. Those are for original equipment parts, which the Corsa is not.

Ride is still smooth..I mean, I feel like I am in a Cadi, but there is a slight difference with the springs..I bottom out every now and then, like at 90 to 100 mph over a dip in the highway. Otherwise, I'm good. As far as the rear bumper, my dealer did the install, but the material back there is fairly thin so it shouldn't be a prob if you're doing it yourself.

 Thanks everyone for your help.I just punished my credit card and took your advice. I went to Gm parts direct and got the Corsa exhaust, the front and rear side skirts. Mc2 FZ3cts wheels- 18". Also got a Band I trim kit ,rear spoiler and E and G mesh grill. Also got the stock CTS shocks. Custom floor mats and of course the Eibach kit..Spent about 4000 dollars. My friends here in St. Louis have started a pool as to when it will get stolen.Even I took the "under" on that pool..Will post some pics when I get it done. I think I will wait till Spring for the springs and exhaust....if I still have it :histeric:

I looked at your ride again. Good taste you have. I ordered the same spoiler. I haven't ordered the Volant intake. Is it worth it? Is the gauze filter easy to clean? May I ask where you got it? I have seen them for about 280 bucks.
I would love to drive a CTS set-up like yours. I can't believe that with the reduced springs and small tires on those 20's that the ride would be so stiff that the fillings would shake out of your mouth...It is OK right?
You have to understand that we are years behind in our thinking about using the dreaded "aftermarket" part..

Thanks for the comp...EVERY mod, (except the tint lol) was all done by the accessory department at my Cadi dealer, Nabers Cadillac in Costa Mesa. They have a good thing going there with the aftermarket crowd. As a matter of fact, I bought the car brand new from the dealer exactly as shown (Volant and Magnaflow was added later) They did the Volant for $300 which included parts, labor tax...I don't know where they purchased the box. As far as difficulty in cleaning, i have no idea...haven't done it yet..But the ride is still great...A lot of dudes have the same set up and they can vouch...Ain't that right BuildingCTSAmg?

I just bought the Volant for$ 277 delivered. Fortunately I have a buddy who owns his own repair shop so it will cost me a case of Bud Light to get it installed correctly. I am anxiously awaiting my wheels and lowering kit. I asked my dealer about the lowering kit and the Mc2 wheels that Gm offers and he looked at me like I had two heads! The only thing the midwest dealer is familar with is the mesh V grill.. :banghead: One good thing. We don't have supplemental ins. for your wheels. My CTS insurance is 1175 per year and that is for the top of the line coverage 250 deductible. How much out there?
