find anything in the manual as far as capacity, so I started asking people, and have been told 3.5 qts as well as 4.6 qts. Is either of these correct, or can someone tell me the correct amount. I also picked up Mobile 1 fully synthetic ATF for the change. Is this as good as anything else or should I go another route? Thanks in advance.
I used just shy of 4 qts as well. I second the need for a pump. Bought mine on amazon for about $6.
I put in Redline D4 ATF, I believe/swear to myself that it runs/shifts smoother. :burn:
I drained and changed it yesterday. At 185 lbs. I don't consider myself a big person but it sure is cramped lying on my back under the car. Without the driving the front wheels up on ramps it would have been impossible. Hopefully, only 3.7 qts. drained from the car, while up on the ramps, because that is what I pumped back in. JDB, that link is an interesting read. It appears that the Mobile 1 synthetic and Amsoil synthetic are almost identical. Thanks for the replies.
I'm just running 2L 80W gear oil in my tranny. Feels great!
