I love the grille on it!! I want one!!

Clearly it didn't cost a huge amount to get repaired. Bet you wished you'd kept it?

It really is a small small world for the U.K. BLS.Hard to believe your car looked like this prior to its repair.

My thoughts are whether the insurance payout would have been enough to allow you to repurchase the BLS(if the Saab had not come along first).

I am liking the Saab a lot !

If I could have got the BLS with the TTiD engine and autobox I think we could have lived very happliy with the BLS for a few long years.
Even more so if I could have got the Hirsch upgrade to 200bhp

The Saab is a great car and really glad I got it the drive is so smooth and motorway treks are very comfortable and effort less.
we had to do a 500 mile trip for a funeral and the trip was great except for the last 5 miles which took 2 hour to do due to traffic !

I'd added the Kenwood DNX7210BT to the car and thats a great headunit.

The one thing I'd like for the BLS is the electric seats I could get that in to a very comfortable position but the manual 9-3 seats are great but I'd like to be able to tilt the base of the seat up just a little.

But after 2600 miles I'm very very happy with it.
The power always puts a smile on my face and I love the Turbo gauge in the instrutment display

I cannot understand how insurance companies work.... someone has picked it up for little money, been prepared to get the work done for a massive saving on what the insurers were predicting and manages to put it up for a profit!!!!!! No wonder we all pay too much for car insurance..... great grille, glad you like the new motor.

Yup, it deffo was a CTS grille that had been put on. I phoned the guy that sold it on. The car was sold very quickly by the way! I was told that the grille was bought in the USA and brought back. Not a straight fit or bolt on. The front bumper had to be modified for it to fit. Even so, looked a really smart job!
