How do I remove the front driver bottom seat cusion? I need to get at the motors that raise and lower the seats.

Thank you.

I am needing some help with this as well. I need to remove the seat cushion to be able to service the tilt mechanism for my driver's seat in my 2005 STS. The switch and motor are trying to engage, but no tilt adjustment is being made.

OK. I worked it out. Some trial and error. Two nuts are on the front edge under the seat. Remove with a ratchet. Seat cushion lifts out. Disconnect electronics and you're good to go.

Can you describe where the two nuts are located? Pictues, maybe? Thanks.

I haven't got pictures, but I can tell you that these are two 10mm nuts. You likely won't find any others this size. They are located toward the front of the seat cushion (underneath) and toward each outer side. You will be able to see them if you use a small mirror and look directly upwards under the front edge of the seat in the area described. Like I mentioned, look for the 10mm nut.
