Hey guys,

So as you know, I like to be different. Decided to give wrapping my car a shot. Long story short, it's an absolute pain, and I totally was done after just these 3 panels. I don't want to look at vinyl again in my life. The $3,000 they charge is completely reasonable. I honestly don't know if I would wrap a car for someone for $3,000. Anyways, I decided to go with the 2-tone look, and I think it looks awesome. I've got to order some knife less tape, then i'm going to do a more even two-tone, on the rear quarter panels, across the pillars to line up with the hood. Should look good, and i'll have that done next week. Let me know what you think! The car is filthy by the way.

3M 1080 Scotchprint matte black vinyl was used for all of this.

Hood half done:

Yeah, you need to get that hood trimmed down and do the front. Looks disjointed right now.

And to be honest, I like the car all white...

I agree with the hood trim. I think D3 got that right and after wrapping my coupe, I have to admit that I pin stripped my hood after D3 because I tought their white one looked so good.

Looks great!!!

Colors look killer together - very nice!!!

I like the idea that you can alter your car at a reasonable price and change it back with out damaging what you had to start with! I give you credit for even trying to wrap a car - experience is priceless!

I do have to ask - when you first painting the grill and badges you stated you hated chrome - so what's up with the rims?

i think i may do my roof with carbon weave di noc. maybe the front lip (thats currently black plasti-dipped) with same said vinyl. i will also do my mirrors,... not sure the whole hood is a good look. i will say kudos for getting it done and it came out good...trailblazing has it's drawbacks as well as triumphs. whats your feeling after a few days adjusting to the new look?

Nice effort. I wanna say the black and white need to be more closely color-aligned. Sort of like mixing some of each color paint into the other color, or that's just the idea. Regards.

sorry to bump and old thread, but this is the only thread I found with a wrapped roof. How are guys wrapping the roof when we have no weather stripping on the sides to tuck under? Im assuming you just cut and hope and pray its a perfectly straight line? I would go crazy if i had an exposed jagged line...
