I was wondering how much weight do you guys think I can save removing all the seats and just having 1 lightweight bucket seat in the front. I know it's a luxury car, but lets talk hypothetically for a minute. Since the coupe is around 4200lbs I'm looking to get it near 4000lbs and would there even be a benefit in straight line speed, top end, or rolling racing?

Wait4Me did that in an earlier thread, and it surely added up. I thought it was something like 400+ pounds total! You WOULD notice a difference with that much weight loss too. That would knock it under 4000 easily.

The recaro's in the V2 weight a lot, as in > 60-70 lbs at least. The rear bench seats don't weigh a lot, The standard lear seats, I couldn't comment on.

They say every 100lbs you shead you gain 1/10th of a second in the 1/4, so is it worth it? ehhhh maybe if it's your toy car and you're the only one that drives it.

one day though, you're going to want to scare the @#$^#^ out of your friend or hot date, but you'll have to tell them it's a 1 man car :(

If removing all the seats is around 300lbs I could have 2 buckets seats up front.
