If you wanted to know what the exhaust looks like from the factory that empties into the chrome tips on the bumper from behind the bumper here's what it looks like (thanks Robbie@OEM for hooking me up with the parts!). The exhaust tips enter into the tips ~1".

I saw a 2012 Escalade Premium the other day. It looked great with the duals out back.

I am not sure why they chose the single muffler (other than cost).

That's just the resonator. The muffler (still a single) is under the 2nd row seats.

Do you mind sharing the cost? I mean total cost, installed and painted, I know from searching, the parts are around 1300.00 shipped.

I will be performing the installation myself and determining how to connect the new resonator to the OEM tailpipe after I cut off the existing resonator.

But with no orange peel it won't match the rest of the GM paint. :(

Haha!! Yep.... That's how you tell when a GM has been in a collision. :D

Please let us know how the installation turns out, this is a nice visual upgrade, would like to see the end result. BTW, what color is your Esky?

It's black. Just got my resonator hangers and brackets in the mail today (another ~$100 shipped) so we're getting close to installation time now!

Where does your spare tire go now that you have a new exhaust system. I love the look of the dual exhaust, but I also love to have a spare tire when traveling long distance. I hate waiting for roadside assistance if I don't have to.

Not being funny, but maybe they did away with the spare as a cost cutting measure.

I don't think the spare tire loss would offset the costs of re-engineering the entire rear bumper cover, new exhaust tips, and a new exhaust resonator. Especially with a new model year coming out next year.

The new Premium packages come with the same setup the hybrids have; a tire inflator and repair kit of some sort.

If I was to travel long distances I'd probably just throw a spare in the back, but I guess some folks don't have the room for it, so I can see how it would be burdensome.

I don't have the bumper and resonator numbers, you can just order these from Robbie, the metal & rubber hangers are:

15092802 exhaust system, exhaust components, rear muffler insulator W/DUAL TAILPIPE - Quantity 3

I like the nice clean look of the rear with the new exhaust... but I don't think I like it enought to give up my spare tire. I'm not a fan of pulling my boat across a 115 degree desert to the river and be without a spare for a flat or blow out.

Good call... I think I would rather mount it to the trailer in some fashion... rather than lift a heavy tire in and out of my boat.
