Hello everyone:
I joined yesterday and this is my first try at communicating with you. I bought a 2002 Seville about one week ago and I love it. What a great car. The car was being sold on ebay by a Cadillac dealer in Wisconsin, USA. My wife and I flew there and drove the car 900 miles to home. We made a mini vacation out of it. We are very pleased with the car and how it spoiled us so quickly. I have not felt this way about a car since I was a teenager. Thanks Cadillac for making me feel young again.
WELCOME ABOARD!!!!communication succesful.
Sevilles are great, your right they spoil you.
have fun here and I look forward to seeing you around. If you got a digital camera get us some pics of that car ;)

Thanks for the welcome. I will get some pictures and post them when I can get a hold of a digital camera.
Yeah, I have yet to get a hold of a camera myself :o. How many miles does the car have?

Welcome Taco Arizona!
Spoiled...? ...so soon? It took me about 30 minutes. Ten minutes with the salesman to go through vehicle setup, ie seat memory, RDS radio program, massaging/heated seats, buttons, switches, gauges, and a 20 minute ride home from the dealership! Oh, there was an additional 15 minutes after arriving home to try and remove the ear-to-ear grin on my face. Sounds like you and your wife had a nice mini-vacation yourself! Good luck, and thank you both for joining the forum.
:welcome:

majax: My Seville has just over 30,000 miles. I put about 1,000 miles on it since I took it off the dealer's lot. I just got Pennsylvania inspection yesterday. They told me that the car will need front brakes and the rotors turned. I used to work on cars way back in the 70's and 80's. I wonder if I could do this job at home without too much trouble?
I am not sure exaclty what it means to turn the brakes but I bet you could do it. I don't think brakes have changed drastically sinces the 80's. Just stronger maybe.

CADDYBLACK99:
Thanks for the welcome. I understand the problem you had with the smile on your face. I think I will just have to stop fighting my smile on my face and live with it. Its been a long time since I owned a car that makes me want to find an excuse to drive it.

I need to put front disk brake pads and have the rotors turned on my 2002 Seville. I used to work on cars in my father's used car business way back in the 70's and 80's. I never worked on cars equiped with ABS. Is there anything difficult with ABS vs. non ABS? Thanks.
