Some of the pictures were taken when the install was underway so, cut some slack.. its all ziptied up now.

Thank you, all of the R&D was done in house, the GMLAN data was hacked so we could integrate with it and control the car, due to time we just stopped with what we had, this will be a package deal for Cadillac just wanted to show it off since its the first of its kind.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

this will be a package deal for Cadillac...

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Is it only Cadillac, or any of the 07-11 SUVs like the Tahoe and Yukon?

Should be the same for other vehicles on the same platform.

No prices yet but we will get some packages up soon.
this was the 1st one like this so we need to see the cost without R&D so we can get you a good solid number.
And installation time.

what are the main things you enjoy about what you see?
did you watch the youtube video's?

Yes, I watched the videos. I use to do and still do car a/v installs on the side. I also use to do custom a/v for the home, so I love the factory integration. Kinda like a Crestron system for the home. I like how the iPhone/iPad is integrated in to everything. I would love to see more of it in the future, and I"m sure we will.

Didn't care for the scroll up/down window. Almost seems pointless. Maybe a fun toy, but the practical side is just the normal up/down or 1 touch up/down.

I looked over all of the pictures as well. Do you think this is something you will be able to package together and ship as a simple install to customers across the U.S., or is this something you are looking to ONLY install yourselves. What do you think the difficulty is going to be to install it. Obviously your tapping in to wires with controllers, but are you having to flash any of the computers?

the scrolling gets both windows to match, I think its pre-set the the owners liking for this one.

i also did home audio back in 06 in Durango, Co.
its good stuff..

DIY install I dont think that would work this is very involved, If your area had a qualified installer (as in one I know already) then maybe, but all the code was done on site and we had the vehicle for about 90 days to get this installed and going.
I think it would be smart to have it installed at our location. you never know what you will run into when trying to get a data interface to program.
The GMLAN tech is about $6000 for a few days.. so you wanna make sure its right.

Very cool & some excellent R&D and programming work.....
But - do you really trust your six year old in the back seat with that much control of your car ??? (Sorry - couldn't resist :stirpot:)

Interesting..

Seems like you guys are using Command Fusion as the control system ? Is there a Crestron back end to this? Or just using the Command Fusion as a stand alone? Are the iPads are using wifi to connect to the cars network? Or hardwired?
