So I ended up purchasing a set of 26" Lexani LX-10 with Lexani LX9 tires 295/30r26. Will be here in 10-15 days. I was wondering where do most 26's rub? Can anyone give me any detail and pics of where. Much appreciated.

Do you have the retractable running boards?

No, I have the regular running boards. I'd like the retractable ones but don't know how the would perform with our winters here.

I have the retractable running boards and my 26s rub bad. My friend has the standard running boards and there is little rubbing. The problem I'm having now is the back are rubbing when I take corners I need to trim the rear wheel wells

Just get it lowered and you'll never use/need them. With McGauhy's 2/3 kit I just step right in :)

That's a great kit Murphy I just installed mine 3 weeks ago. Let me ask a question If you don't mind.....the rear is still higher than the front, how can you make that come down? I installed the springs for the rear etc but I heard you have to bend the link or something.........

I'm not sure how to lower the rear ..I like it with a little stagger with rear a little higher..guess you could get a different kit that lowers the rear more. I didn't install mine myself so not sure on the technicalities..

McGaughy's makes a 5" rear but 2wd only..

When I lowered my 03 Escalade years back, I had to bend the linkage on the rear almost 90 degree. The kit should of came with instructions on how to bend it and how much. I know mine came with a template of how it should look when it is bent. Try contacting McGaugys?

I ended up taking the links out and cutting about a inch and quarter off and that seemed to make the back come a lot
