My 08 is ready for a new set of pads up front...think it is just starting to hit the squeak sensors. What are good replacement pads that you guys recommend?

Don't know what kind of mileage you got but we have seen many trucks go to 50k miles with the stock pads, that is amazing for the weight of these trucks, the stock pads work good, having said that we just got a few sets of EBC pads and rotors to test, they are the 3GD rotors, they are slotted and dimpled drilled, this prevents any chance of cracking

And Greenstuff 7000 front pads and Greenstuff 6000 rear pads, this offered a 17 foot better stopping distance than the stock pads on our test 2007 Escalade, and they are very low dust, just follow the break in process. I had tested their Yellowstuff pads on the test Escalade as well, they offer better stopping, BUT DO MAKE A GOOD AMOUNT OF DUST, the 7000 & 6000 is no more dust than stock.

There are many options out there

Thanks...think I will just stick with the stock pads from the dealer. This is my wife's daily driver and she isn't very hard on it.

Check out the semi-metallic pads from brakeperformance.com. If your rotors are due, they have some pretty good packages for both.

Just placed an order. They didn't have the premium ceramic in stock and couldn't even provide a price. I ended up going with the premium semi-metallic
