Wheel/tire gurus, my Vossen CV3 graphite wheels have arrived for my Coupe and I need tires.

I'm being stubborn with my desire for Micheline Pilot SS, so my choices are:

Fronts: 255/35-20 or 275/35-20
Rear: 285/30-20 or 295/30-20

Should I expect fitment issues any other issues with either of these choices?

Get the larger set, at a minimum.

At a minimum? And why? They will weigh more, which means more unsprung weight = lesser handling and ride and slower acceleration. Just for looks?

Stock width wheels? 9 up front, 9.5 rear? If so, stick with the 255 fronts and 285 rears.

I would stay close to stock tire widths. Maybe a 295 in the back...

He's got a coupe so the stock rear is 10". Why dont u want the Michelin SS? They're reviewed well. The cheap Toyo Proxies 4 that Vossen recommend are all season so traction will suck.
People have put 305 on the rear but the Perelli's and Bridgestones that fit are more $$. Check onlinetires.com

10" rears would make it a no-brainer for me. Michelin Super Sports all the way! Stock size up front and 295/30 or 35 rears. I can't imagine you'd find ANY better a combination. Forget going for those monster-wide rear tires that don't match the rims just because you think they LOOK "meaty". A 295 super sport on the rear won't let you down either in a straight line or a corner.

CoppeR - thanks for point out the coupe...that makes a big difference on the picture due to the wider rear rims...

Go with the Super Sports in a 255-40-19 front and a 295-35-19 rear.

But the rears may not work because they were designed for a BMW :cookoo: :lildevil:
