| View Full Version : Is your Cadillac dealer missing? BeelzeBob 11-24-04, 06:54 PM ...from our Cadillac Dealer Locator? Please check and see.. http://www.cadillacforums.com/cadillac-dealers/index.php Thank you! majax 11-24-04, 08:02 PM Since when did they move to Lewiston  ;) Msilva954 11-24-04, 08:02 PM I did notice lately that my dealer was just bought by another guy so its no longer part of Ed Morse.....sucks. BeelzeBob 11-24-04, 10:03 PM Was it bought my Maroone (Auto Nation)? Majax.. Is a listing incorrect? majax 11-24-04, 10:41 PM I just got the names backwards. They are where they should be. Msilva954 11-24-04, 11:04 PM Oddly enough it wasnt bought by Maroone...(doesnt everything seem to??) but by something called Vero.....it used to be University Cadillac on Pines.....so now I have to travel to Ft.lauderdale beach just to go to Bay View Caddy, Edmorse owns them, and im pretty sure they are one of the nations largest Caddy dealers. Caddi Lover 11-27-04, 02:16 PM You guys think you have it bad. Two days after I bought my 4th Caddi, our one and only dealer in Hawaii announced that they will be closing down. Yikes! We now have no dealer and are forced to go to the Chevy dealer. They don't really know Caddi cars. Soooooooo SAD! Adam 11-27-04, 04:25 PM all mine are there. :D CADDYBLACK99 12-03-04, 01:48 PM Mine are listed. I use Baker Cadillac, Leominster MA. devilleconcours100 03-12-05, 12:17 PM I use Massey Cadillac, (not associated with any of the nationally owned chain dealerships), they are a locally owned dealer in Kinston, NC. They have been around since 1940, and they will service any Cadillac or Oldsmobile since 1960. They keep the service manuals, etc, so they know what to do. Plus the labor rate is reasonable. Sandy 03-13-05, 12:38 PM I have had a couple of incidents over the years when I had car-trouble, when the car was parked in the driveway. Once the starter died and she would not start. A neighbor came over & got it started and told me to "Drive Straight to the Dealer" for "If it stalls, you will not get it Restarted!" ~ on another occurance I had a sudden stalling problem. She'd died on the road without warning. (Neither of these were with my 1993 Sixty Special, but rather my 1988 SDV. (The pink one)! :D My dealer from whom I bought both Cadillacs as well as the wife's Pontiac G.P. GTP S.E. was a mere 5 miles away, and all of that "trip" was done on 25 mph suburban residential streets. In 2002 they closed up after 53 years in business. The next closest Cadillac dealer is at least 15 miles away, in a different county and only accessable via two major 65MPH highways. If one has a sick car, and is trying to "limp" to the dealership (as I've had a couple of times) - you don't wanna be on an interstate, being forced to drive at 60MPH, when you have a sudden stalling car. As a matter of fact, our county of 23 individual towns, is WITHOUT a Cadillac dealer !! We do have: Buick (1) Chevrolet (3) Ford (4) Lincoln-Mercury (1) Chrylser-Jeep (3) Dodge (3) and all of the foreigners! THAT is the sole reason I switched to Lincoln in 2003, with a Town Car. It is 95% sourced in America, also. I have been extremely pleased with the sales & service I've received on the car. The Point? Sibbling Rivilery I guess mandates that Lincoln owners & Cadillac owners need to spur against one & other, but in truth, they are really the same buyer. I still consider myself a Cadillac/Lincoln owner/buyer and they both make excellent cars, allthough the Cadillacs are getting way too small! Look how many RWD Fleetwood owners we have on here, and how many Seville and FWD Fleetwood owners and Escalade owners. Are they going to be happy in cars the size of the STS or CTS? I know that I am not! The 2006 is the last Town Car as you know it. The 2007 will be shrunk by about 12-13%. The biggest Chrysler is the 300C. The 1976 Dodge ASPEN was larger !!!! Where to go for a full sized luxury sedan ? There are a few leftover '05 Buick Park Avenue Ultras left out there....and THEN what ?? devilleconcours100 03-18-05, 08:10 PM I have had a couple of incidents over the years when I had car-trouble, when the car was parked in the driveway. I think that Cadillac has narrowed its dealer network down too much. The only other companies with smaller dealer networks are Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, and Rolls Royce. | |
