I hear some blower whine under partial throttle at lower rpm. Boost gauge isn't reading any positive boost. Is that normal? I hear a bit of blower noise on my ZR1 as well at lower rpm/part throttle just cruising around town, but it sounds a little more pronounced on the V. Might be more noticeable with the quiet exhaust?

Some light blower whine is normal in the 2000-2500ish RPM range. No where near the glorious levels of blower whine present in the old Eatons though, unfortunately.
I was 99% sure this was normal due to the similar (but more subtle) sound on the ZR1, but that was the info I needed V Wagon. Just a slight whine in the 2,000-2,500rpm range at partial throttle. It's not bad, just noticeable. Glad to know it's completely normal.
If you want to really hear the blower, put an Airaid CAI on it. You'll hear it a WOT then!

The AirRaid CAI turns the supercharger whine volume up from about a "4" stock to a "9" instantly. The whine/whistle noise is impossible not to hear.

Normal finding. As others say, better with a CAI.

Holy crap that airraid piece is a really nice looking cold air intake when installed.
