I have a 77 Cadillac Eldorado with a 425, and I recently purchased an Edelbrock 750 cfm carb (1411, electric choke). I have had a lot of problems with the current rebuilt Quadrajet, and I wanted to try something different. I have read on the forums people having good luck with the Edelbrock 750, and I wanted to know if there was a good combination of metering rods/jets to use with this engine/carb combo. I have made a few basic performance improvements to the car, including a modified dual-plane intake manifold from a 500 cadillac, true dual exhaust, open element K&N, and Advance curve kit with Coil. I am more interested in performance than fuel economy, as this isn't my daily driver.

Any other carb tips would be greatly aprreciated.

Thank you
