I did some searching around and I can't seem to find projector foglights for the gen 1 v.do they exist or is it something you have to fabricate? Also, anyone tried the aftermarket headlights with the leds? Any help would be appreciated

Look on the cts gen1 forum. A guy there put them on his car. There are no projector style aftermarket fogs. In this v forum there is someone who fabbed some.

Found a shop in my area that is capable of fabrication.he balked a little when I showed him pics of the fab join on the other forum but I'm working on him, are any other members interested ifi can get him to do it? In the meanwhile he is gonna do a custom job for me on my taillights for about the same cost as the aftermarket leds.I'll post pics asap :-)

That's a good look too.if I can't get him to go all out well probably compromise on a dual projector setup

That is from gemcity customs. He hadn't been on in a bit. You can search the posts for his contact info.

So, help me out with my ignorance. Are projector lights better in some way? Brighter, last longer ... what?

Besides looking very cool IMO,projector lights last much longer than a standard bulb although they are considerably more expensive to replace when they finally do go.the overall area that they light is wider, deeper and more precise in relation to where the headlight is pointing and the quality of light is crisper and brighter (think led vs standard bulb).lastly, in poor weather, less of the light output is diffused increasing the drivers visibility and visibility to other drivers overall.

i think i may crack open my clear fogs to put ebay h10 projectors in.. its just going to be a lot of hacking and its going to be hard to seal. they are perfect as is. never any humidity or condensation

this will allow me to actually use them on two lane roads.. they are strictly dark highway use with clear fogs
