Hey Jeff!!!
When's the re-build gonna start? I know you've dedicated alot of your time recently to your other project. Is the Caddy gunna be back on the road next year?

BTW.....post some info about your other car in the "Lounge" area. I know it's not a Cadillac but I'm sure some here would be interested.

Love the car man! My jaw dropped when I saw you in car craft a few months back. :worship: I can't beleive you're actually on the forum. Pretty cool. :)

One question I had after I read the article... Why drag radials all around??? Don't they have weak sidewalls = not so good for cornering? I mean, you did well in the handling dept, but I was just curious as to why ...

Awesome car man! I love it!!!!

Car Craft allowed Real Street Eliminator Competitors to change tires for drags and autocross. I didn't have the dough and extra wheels to do this. You're right Drag Radials are not the best for handling. I thought the drag radials would be the best compromise and it worked out for me. I was the only car in RSE that used one set of tires for the whole competition including the 100 mile street drive through the mountains in the rain. I still have the Nitto drag radials in the 3 wheel picture in the the link above. (Sept 03 PHR)
thanks

FABULOUS JOB JEFF!!!

It is great to see some of these sportsters put in their place. I always say "Hell, anyone can get in a Vette and run good... take on a challenge!"

A couple years ago, I attended a road course event at the Gateway Speedway in St. Louis. In the driver's meeting the instructors told us about how they hold classes there every week and that the Porsche's that they use top out at about 95mph when they cross the finish line.

My first pass 104mph, second pass 107mph, third pass 111mph. There were a lot of stunned Porshe drivers there that day :)
