: Maggie Fuel Loop Delete & Clean FRC Install

So I've had my FRC's for some time now but refused to install them with the stupid Magnuson fuel manifold and unsightly fuel loop they supply. I wanted to plumb my fuel line straight into the back rail crossover but had to have a way to delete the fuel manifold. Another member along time ago made some block off plates but they have since been sold off and are long gone. So after looking around I came up with a solution. It is used on a Corvette with no intercooler to block off that location when they ship it to Magnuson (here are the directions, its step 16 Instructions (http://www.superchargersonline.com/installmanuals/magnacharger/manual-ChevroletCorvetteIntercoolerUpgrade.pdf). A quick email to David and I had my solution.

Here is the block off plate shown on the right next to the stock fuel manifold.

And installed on the rail with o-ring.

Next I had to plumb into the rear crossover and to do that I order a bunch of parts. Of course what all I ordered didn't work out as planned but after another order I had everything I needed. Although I ended up not having all SS braided like I had wanted I was able to get it done.

Here is a pic of the final solution. There really isn't as much room back there as I had initially thought. Thus the goofy looking loop.

In addition to the stuff I did above I should mention I also re-routed the front crossover and deleted the EVAP. Here are a couple pics of that.

And last but not least my FRC's installed. Clean! :)

Dang, that looks good!

I did the U-turn, fuel line delete with the heavymetals' mod, but my FRC on that side still sticks up. I have the same FRCs, and yours look so-o much better.

Okay, here's ANOTHER mod I need to do before I'll be satisfied.

Btw, thanks for the links.

Looks good man! I keep trying to get myself to clean up the mess around my maggie, but I am far too lazy about it.

What is the benefit/purpose of the return loop delete and evap. Delete?

Thanks Randy. Heavy was just showing me his setup on tech last night. It definitely has its costs and benefits though compared to total delete. No problem on the links, I know I hate trying to guestimate what others have used.

Thanks! And I can understand, I am actually thinking of heading down to Pony Wars in Valdosta so I wanted to get it all cleaned up to show off. Not to mention before people would ask to see and I would have to be like what is there to see? A bunch of wires and hoses everywhere? :)

What is the benefit/purpose of the return loop delete and evap. Delete?

Completely cosmetic. I just wanted to get rid of it so the FRC's would sit down nicely in place. If you don't delete it you have to cut a big hole to go around it and then they are still lines above the covers. As for the EVAP it is the same reasoning, to much clutter in the way!

:) Thanks Tony, mine was a mess as well, just took some patience and parts. The catch can is an e-ghey special. $50 IIRC. The only downside with it, that I later read, is that it lacks baffles. The purpose of the baffle is so oil can flow in but then can't be sucked back out because it falls into a seperate baffled chamber. While I'm not 100% it is necessary I like the thought process behind it.
