I decided i would try and fit this splitter on my V, it turned out looking okay in my opinion. What do you think?

It's not bad. Don't think it does much...

Not too bad. What is the splitter originally from/for?

I will get more pics very soon. It is secured with self tapping screws. it doesnt fit perfectly since its for another car but i think the subtle aggressiveness is good

i like it a lot as a visual mod. It contrasts nicely w/ the thunder blue.

I'd loooove to draw one out and have it made: http://aprperformance.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=250&Itemid=44

It looks like it might not be long (wide) enough in that picture. We really need pictures from a couple angles and further away from the car to tell for sure. I think I like it though, and I applaud the effort to change up the look with a subtle addition.

...say....what happened to the original StealthV? Still hanging in the bimmer world? hmm...

As you can tell in these pics, it does not have the width needed to clear the bumper on the outer edges but i believe it still adds a little something and makes the front end look a tad more aggressive.

It does look a tad more aggressive but, im not sure I like how it doesnt fully follow the bumper. I have been looking for something similar as my front rubber splitter thing is all torn up and could use something in its place

some people say you can take a heat gun and very easily warp this one to follow the lines better. I might give that a try.

IMO with the black splitter i think you need to fully black out the grill. it looks mis matched as it is..

^i have a fully black one on its way in the mail

i like that you took it upon yourself to explore and try something different with the car, everything else on this car looks wise has been beaten to death, and to be honest idk what it looks like in person but i think its a subtle touch that does make it look more aggressive, im intrigued to see what this bumper would like like on my all black V

and when i say "in this car" i mean CTS-V's in general

A ghai here named "homer" had custom splitters on his V. I saw it back in '07 and it looked AWESOME! Had to do some trimming to custom fit, but it was the best splitter I've seen, still, on a V...

Something like this might be a good fit too. http://www.carboncreations.com/exterior/other-exterior/duraflex-frp-universal-middle-splitter.html

ehhh i would opt for one of these if i was using the v on a road course.. but on a daily this would be over kill IMO.. i like the clean lines better

Eh.. It's not horrible. Id prefer one without the braces and without the "wing" portions that stick out beyond the sides of the bumper.

I dig it. Would be perfect candidate for the Carbon Fiber DiNoc overlay! ;)

Managed to dig up photos of a V with those JSP universal splitters installed.

Not sure what my thoughts are on those.

homers' looked better. I think they were trimmed differently and stuck forward more, sides less...

Well, racing in Newfoundland, you need it...

It looks like it wasn't designed for the car. I like the look of the bottom of the stock bumper. If I were to add one to my V, I'd choose the second one and try to hide the braces. It would get ripped off my car in no time since the front is so low now. That will be fixed shortly.
