I had a set on for a short period of time. They require a little bit of dremel cutting to fit, but they will fit. Do a search, there are threads and pictures on this topic.

The passenger side one fits as is. The driver side one requires extensive modification to fit snugly.

**** FUZZYLOGIC -- what tubing/pipe is on your intake to the TB? I'd love to toss the stocker on my LPE intake.

It's the tube from a Volant CTS-V CAI. Volant intake tube + Lingenfelter airbox. Best combination that's not custom fabricated.

Those look so much cleaner than the giant stock cover. I guess when I get back home tonight I will start performing the surgery to make them fit!

Why is the strut bar on the ls2 way taller?? Just curious

Thanks! Did they sell it separately to you or did you score it from someone else?

Would you happen to know which PN bolts are for the closest to the headlight (almost under the fender lip) and then the one on the fender that holds the bracket of the LPE intake? Lost one during install and think the dealer didn't put the one on the fender in right and it dropped out.

Sorry, I'm not sure which one you're talking about, but I would advise checking the catalog section of GMPartsDirect.com. Might take a good bit of poking about.

Although there are a few threads with "diy" type posts there really isn't a definitive template to cut them. Just trim a little bit at a time and go from there. Measure twice, cut once!

I guess you're right, thanks for the advice!

Np. I'm right behind you once I get my block off plate for the stupid Maggie fuel manifold.

I made ones using the GTO covers. Had to cut off the attatchements totally and move them. Took a bunch of trial and error but im happy with them. Got them painted to color match.

I would have gone that route if I hadn't gotten such a good deal on my Corvette ones. I love the looks of some of the GTO's that have been modified for the V.

Pic relevant.
