Has anyone try to mount 325 30 19 on a coupe? i currently have the 305 30 19 they are super pilot
michelin super sport spec
305 30 19 are (sect width 12.3) and (Tread Width 12.1) dia of 26.3
325 30 19 are (sect width 13) and (tread width 12.5) dia 26.7
The difference is not big but very close to stock dia of 26.9
do you have the 305 on your stock 19" wheels?
do they fit without any problems?
yes i have 305 30 19 and they fit without a problem but due to the dia of the tire i find it looks too small. I have seen 305 30 19 on sedans lowered and they look nice. The coupe has a huge rear fender and 305 30 19 dia is to small in relation to the fender size. 325 30 19 are close to the original dia only .02 (325 are 26.7') smaller versus .06 (305 are 26.3") original 26.9" dia
sounds great. which size do you have in the front?
i dont know if i should upgrad to 20" or should take a 305 or 325 if it will fit for the 19"
I would not even think about squeezing the 325 onto the 10" rim. Widen it to 11" or 11.25" and I think you will be extremely happy with the results.
I don't see how you can go with the 325. It calls for a rim that is 11 1/2". I believe stock is only 10". I would not even try unless you change rims. Cecil..........
I assumed the coupe had 10.5" in the rear and I would muscle the tire in, (done this before), I do remember having fun installing the 305. If you say my coupe has 10" I guess the 325 would be difficult or unable to install
Does anyone know what the oem rim weight? Those tsw nurbur... wheel are growing on me. and the price for forge are excellent
If i did widen the oem wheel any idea how much it would cost
Widening wheels costs about $300/rim. I would widen to 11.25" to use the 325 30 19. You would need a spacer and longer lugs, which D3 sells. They may even be able to sell you or swap you a set of rear widened rims for a price... I would call them and chat about it.
From what I recall, the stock wheels weigh ~24lbs (fr) & ~26lbs (rr).
excellent information...looks like the stock wheel are about the same weight as the 20" tsw Nurburing. I will call Tim at D3 to see my options, but again those tsw Nur... are really close to the stock look for cheap $$$ Forged
