You're going to have to rewire the harness. It's do-able, i did it on my 2010 Camaro, but I don't have the stock wiring harnesses, so I don't know which ones you have to rewire, basically, you have to tap into lights that have a signal at all times.

Yep.....rewiring will need to be done. I'm not sure if the light pipe shares the same + wire as the parking lights. If this is the case, the ull need to open the headlight & then run a separate + wire to the inside of the headlight to the light pipe.

not true, i just turn the knob and only my light pipes come on. Test it in the daytime and it will work.

agree with mike maz. Rotate the light stalk one position and the LEDs stay on and DRLs go off. Rotate 2 positions and and you get the LEDs and Fogs and DRLs still off.

The only problem is the lights will not turn off by themselves when you shut off the car.

And the tails and everything else come on, too.

That looks sick. Photoshop that BMW out of the pic and it would look better....

I just turn the "auto lighting" off, which turns off the DRLS... then turn on my fogs which in turn turns on the light piping as well.

Then I don't have to worry about them staying on when I turn off the car. I also updated my fogs, but with HOEN bulbs.

Bro works at Osram/Sylvania and he is making me some custom LED fogs. In the mean time he is getting me a set of Silver star zXe's. If the LED project turns out good, I wll see what he wants for a true plug and play mod for the V.

The previous led fog options have been disappointing to say the least. Hopefully these will be some newer technology that has the look and functionality we want. Post some pics if and when these ever come to fruition.
