A pop music celebrity had one created on a TV show in america.

Nah, Justin did gull wings. It would be left to everyone one else to determine the answer to the question, why?

You are not going to get much help for these mods. Most of us appreciate our Vs for being among the fastest cars on the planet. Sticking on giant wheels and trick doors are not things we like...

i hope this is a weird joke of some kind.... lambo doors......really?......WT??

modding the fenders comes down to the offset. I've done 22's on a sedan so on a coupe is a piece of cake. 21" is a much better look though

Are there some members with 21".
In Germany there is Nobody who can help, Cause there are only 10 ctsv driving. :)

They are NC Forge "DTM Series" two piece modular wheels. http://www.ncforged.com/. Rears are 21x11. I THINK the fronts are 10 inch wide but I'm not sure. I do not know the offsets either. I'm running Pilot Sports 295/25/21 rear and 255/30/21 front. If I were to redo this, I would run 20's because of a better selection of tires at a better cost. The car is lowered on D3 Competition Springs and there is a slight rub in the rear under extreme acceleration or with a load (Passengers in the back or luggage).

do you think it would be possible that you run 305 or 325 in the rear too?
do you have wheel spacers too?

I don't think there is anyway to run 305/325 with these wheels on the D3 springs. I already have minor clearance issues both with the outer fender and the inside liner with a load in the car. I am not running wheel spacers.

With the proper offset you can run 20x11 with 315/25R22 even on our D3 Competition Lowering Springs. Pirelli Pzero Nero is the only tire available in a 315/25R22.

What would really be cool is true suicide rear doors on the sedan ala a Rolls, but the rear door curve on the back edge might be hard to hinge properly.

Here is mine with 21s. I am in agreement that 22s is a little much for the V. Tires are dirt cheap in 295/25 and 255/30 which is a plus,, spin all day with no guilt.

Just curious why you think 21" is such a better look than 22" on the V coupe? I could understand better if you were saying your preference is 20" over 22s but the 22" vs 21" debate seems fairly insignificant, especially if they both fit well without any rubbing issues.

I am considering 22" Forgiato GTRs for my coupe (22x9 Front w/245/30/22s and 22x11.5 rears w/305/25/22s). I am respectfully interested in your more detailed opinion about the 22" application on the V-coupe. Thanks.

My momma always told me that if you have nothing nice to say about Lambo Doors, Neon Light Kits, Chain-Link Steering Wheels, and 22s, then don't say anything at all ............ <crickets chirping>

"Dang Foo", so you automatically liken 22" wheels to all those negative things you mentioned in the same sentence?

You think 21's look great but you associate all 22" wheels with neon light kits and chain link steering wheels? Really?

I'm just trying to understand the huge support for 21s on the V yet huge negative opposition for 22s. Is it just a stereotype thing? I get that many 22's are ghetto and look awful but a quality, classy, tastefully color matched set of 22s with proper ride height (low) on a CTS-v coupe would be gorgeous.

I didn't write anything about 21s looking great; you're making an assumption about any further opinion that I may or may not have.

My favorite car at SEMA last year had 22" Forgestar F14s and it looked re-fukn-diculously good!! I agree that a nice set of 22s might look good, but its a huge risk. Im not a fan of the Forgiatos you mentioned,, but would love to see how it turns out (curiosity).. Post it up here when your done.. Here is an LFA on 22s: Apples to walnuts,, maybe, but just shows that some cars can look good on dub-dubs..lol

Personally, I think 20s look best. But it also depends on the wheel. But since you like Lambo doors, my hopes are not up...

My bad DangFoo. You are right. What's your opinion on 21s and ideal wheel diameter for a V coupe?
