Well anyway go to start the car, but before I start watch the digital readout do its little self test thing, and the O.P goes alll the way to 129 and stays there, engine runs fine. Stays there even after starting the car and driving it, and does not clear when you shut down and re-start. Any ideas??

Probably a failed oil pressure sender.

Once again thx for the info. Yea that was my next comment, does it have to be a factory part, or will aftermarket work??

I can't open the pdf on my phone, but I installed a pressure sender from Autozone and there is a good 3 second delay on what the pressure should be. I can take it up to 4k rpm and shift and the when rpms drop to the next gear, the pressure reading is still climbing. Would an gm sensor be better or could I have an issue in the motor? They warrantied one sensor already but the second is doing the same thing

I would use a AC Delco Part No. D1846A, or GM Part 12573107.

Ouch! $91.00 price quote from a local GM Dealer. Might try GM Parts Direct.

Amazon has it for 33.19 with free shipping. AC Delco D1846A.
I have bought many GM/AC Delco parts there recently and they are legit.
