20x10.5 rear - Offset: +65 - Toyo Proxes 295/30/20

I LOVE these wheels, and for $1500, you can't beat these.

Thoughts? I LOVE the look of the wide tires on the back. It just looks like such a monster. That with the cutouts open. It's over.

Also, I picked these up from Jon @ Best Wheel Deals. Probably the best wheel/tire company i've ever dealt with. Hit him up if you want to pick up a set.

Thanks!

THAT SETUP LOOKS GREAT! Those wheels compliment the car while giving it a edge over a stock setup but inline with the car's personality. How are those Toyo's? I am familiar with those tires, I have them on an Aurora but I always wondered how they would perform on a V

I recall he has 18"s for track wheels.

Below are some similar looking wheels, but i definitely prefer the TSW's. Too many spokes on the black car

+59 rear offset? holy smokes, We run mid-high 40's! Thats crazy but looks great with the 295

Can I ask why you went 10.5" rears? Obviously, the wider the better. But TSW has that wheel in a 20x10" with a 35mm offset, which should mean no spacers needed.

I ask because after seeing yours, I may pull the trigger after thinking about these in 20s since before I bought my black matte 'Rings a year ago...

Do you have any pics from the rear looking down the fender line? I'm curious how far from flush these sit. It looks fantastic!

Why you no answer my question?

Because this is what fits good and is wide.

I'm just asking. Personally, I'd rather run without spacers than with. And a 10" wide is plenty good for me...

You're fine, I just wanted some of the widest wheels for less than 3 grand. I love the wide tire look. Also someone had that size in bronze and it rubbed.

Lol no you cannot have them.

Ok.

Time to do some math...

Not sure where you're getting that a 10" +35 will even remotely work on the V. It may work on the coupe, but not even close to fitting inside the wheel well on the sedan. It sticks out 27mm further than the stock sedan rear wheel.

However, as seen in the pic above, he hit the nail on the head with the 10.5" +65 wheel with a 6mm spacer. I would even go 8 or 10mm spacer...

Good catch. I always have to write these equations out and did this in my head.

Many of us do run 18x9.5" TSWs w/ 40mm offset for track wheels. What I did was run the difference in offset the wrong way, thinking the 35mm would be in between the TSW track wheel and stock, not further away.

So anything at 53mm and close above that should work...

----------

Of course when you go from 18 to 20" wheels there is some slight difference to work out...

----------

Hey, Captain, if you ever get a chance to show pics of the gap from tire to fender lip and a pic inside as well, that would be funky...

I looked every where, they don't make the rear in 65 offset...... I am really confused here.

Captain McFunk

I have 6mm spacers for the wheels, that's why you're not finding +65 made. i had to make that offset with spacers. It's in the original post.

Thanks!

CARiD and Discount Tire shows the TSW Nurburgring in a 20x10.5 with a +65 offset. I thought you added the spacer to the +65 offset to get a total of +59 offset
