I think i paid $340 for mine almost a year ago... maybe price went up due to demand. it is the best riding suspension for these trucks. don't forget alignment, it made all the difference..

Any idea how much it will cost for installation?

I have seen anywhere from $200-$600 for install. The rear is simple. maybe 1/2-1 hour. however the front is much more involved, you literally have to take apart the whole front end down to the axle. 3-6 hrs. depending on skill.

Will lowering the rear cause any problems related with the auto leveling suspension?

Thanks,

Just follow the instructions that came with it.

OPTION: I used the regular links and mounted the little ball onto the hole that is closer to the axle and it worked great, others that I have spoken to have also done the same thing. The shocks work better, respond better to bumps, one downside is that it lifts the truck about .5 inch, but I'm willing to do that than to be banging and hitting all day long in the wonderful streets of southern california. The reason why we all drive SUV's

Jungle George did you installl your kit yourself? Are you refering to the front end being lifted .5"? I live in Riverside, CA and was considering lowering the rear end. I put 22" TIS-01's but the gap in the back is too much. I love the ride, becuause it is still close to stock. Many have said the Mcgaughys kit does not sacrafice the ride. Is that true?

I just got a set of 24" TIS01, will the Mcgaughy's deluxe clear the gap for my ride? If not, is there any way I can go lower?
