: 2009 Loaded 6MT Black Raven CTS-V

03-22-12, 10:08 PM
This is for a loaded 2009 Black Raven CTS-V w/ 35k miles. It has a manual transmission. It also has:

Suede wheel/shifter (along with a custom suede shift boot)
Aluminum pedals
Ultraview Moonroof(no creaks, rattles, nothing. It has been flawless)
Polished wheels(again, stock wheels and no clicking)
Recaro seats(heated and cooled)

I'm probably forgetting a few items so PM me or message here with questions. It again is a Black Raven with black interior. It has tinted windows from the dealer. The dealer said 27%, the MA state trooper I met metered it at 32%. So you should be OK in most states.

Some things that have been done...
I've done a couple of very subtle visual modifications. It has a grille that has been Plasti-Dip'd. Yes, that sounds awful but the grilles are a black matte that have a very durable finish. It won't peel or chip like paint since the grille material is plastic. I also had the gray plastic trim pieces(fog light bezels, front slitters, rear valance) wrapped in 3M Di-Noc. Again, it sounds cheap, but it's a durable carbon fiber wrap. Anyway, both mods are easily reversible.

As for power, the car has a total hp of approximately 630hp. The car was tuned at Behe Performance and has an LPE intake tube, LPE 10% overdrive harmonic balancer pulley and Kooks headers. It is a nice, noticable bump over stock yet is just as streetable. The power delivery is stock and I've let my retirement-aged mother drive it around. With Stabilitrak it's as docile with a light foot as a base CTS. Also, the combination of Kooks headers and stock mufflers is the best around, IMO. There is much more burble and a nice audible scream at full throttle without being over the top. You can drive it with clients, church-folk and your friends alike. And the V is so well insulated, if you want to just cruise quietly with the windows up and music low, the exhaust won't intrude on that.
It's really an all-purpose car.

So contact me with any questions...

bumpz again.

Just finished vacation and drove the V to Minnesota and back. With the extra long way through northern Ontario.

An amazing long distance cruiser! Easy to do a 1050 miles day with no fatigue. That MR suspension is so balanced.

Now at 42,500 miles.

That's a great price, someone should jump all over that !

03-02-13, 02:57 AM
I'll revisit the price this weekend...

03-02-13, 07:23 PM
Seriously Jim, that was already a great price. I can't believe you are having issues getting rid of it.

I would be all over it, if not for the color :(

03-04-13, 01:05 PM
You're so racist...

03-04-13, 01:15 PM
I've had black cars, the V was my first non black, no going back now.

03-05-13, 09:02 PM
Jim. Are the cats still on the car? Also, do you have any clearer pix of the CF wrapping on the plastic pieces?

03-07-13, 06:22 PM
Kooks with hi flow cats. I'll try to get some up close pics of the wrap as it looks currently. With this storm, though, it may take a few days...

03-11-13, 03:12 PM
Lazy lol. storm just an excuse.

I am very surprised this car has not sold yet!

03-16-13, 10:03 AM
46,000 miles

03-18-13, 08:59 AM
What's next for you, James?

03-18-13, 02:34 PM
My work has been awful as the company I worked for was bought out and us guys who have been subcontractors are squeezed out.

The V is not a DD and my Town Car can be used for personal use, if I choose. So probably nothing until I get things figured out...

03-20-13, 08:26 PM
Where are you located?

03-21-13, 03:13 AM

03-21-13, 10:03 AM
Can you provide me your email address so I can talk to you privately about the V im interested, thanks.

03-29-13, 12:35 AM
I'd this still available? Anything left on the warranty? I know the mods might void most of the warranty anyhow.

03-29-13, 04:43 AM
The mods have the potential to void the powertrain portion if your dealer forces the issue. Mine is fine with it...unless a failure is directly related to a mod.

Otherwise, it should be good for a few more months and a few thousand miles. The powertrain is good to 100k, I believe. And maybe another 1+ years. Ugh, I'll have to check that.

Still for sale. I really haven't been vigorous about selling it over the winter...

C'mon peeps!

Great car, great price!.

Now's the time, great weather is coming, and Jim's gender reassignment surgery isn't going to pay for itself.:RightTurn:
