: Aftermarket wheel options

Hey guys, I'm looking for some options for the CTS-V sedan for aftermarket wheels. It seems like it's 3-pc or no go for these cars due to such odd sizes. I'm looking for 20x9 and 20x10 if that's possible. If not, i have no problem going to 20x9.5 or 20x9 for the rear. What offset should I aim for with these sizes? What tires sizes in 20" to keep from rubbing?

Right now, the top of my list is the TSW Nurburgrings in machine/black faced. Anyone else have any other recommendations? I like the mesh look, or the concave 5 spoke look.

Thanks!

The TSW will be the best cost/function/look option you'll find. I've been toying with the idea of ditching my stock wheels for 20s in the Nurburgring since I like my 18s so much...

Each size diameter has different offsets. My track wheels are 18x9.5" and have a 40mm offset. Matte gunmetal...

If you're balling HRE P40SC... I'd love a set, but can't wrap my mind around spending that kind of money on wheels.

Those Forgelines look almost exactly like the TSW Nurburgrings. But the TSWs are under $1g in the 18s...

Josh had these on his white car, you should call and see if he wants to sell them. Right now they are just chilling at the shop.

Or just call up Discount Tire Direct and have the TSWs at your house in a few days. And no shipping charges...

Just ordered the nurburgrings in 20x9 and 20x10.5 with 295/30/20 and 255/35/20 Proxes 4. They'll be here mid next week. I'll have to run spacers on the back to get them to fit right, but this will get me the biggest tires that will tuck under the rear fender wells. I've ran a spacer with wheels in the past (6mm) and there were no problems. Should look awesome! Picks to come!

Nice. I'm still thinking about replacing the stock wheels with those on 20s...

Do you have pics of this? Do they stick out a lot? I'm about to order 35mm offset rims and want to make sure they don't stick out too far.

Those look really good in 20". My black matte 18s look great as track wheels. I may ditch my stockers for these...

Is your car lowered, BTW? And what size spacers? Curtis sent me his he ran with 10.5" wide C5Z drag wheels...

Volk Racing TE-37's 19x9.5 all around, +35 offset. I had to run 4mm spacers to clear the front calipers, and 3mm would probably clear the rear... had to roll the rear fenders. The whole project was a pain, but it came out looking pretty darn good IMO. I don't think anyone else has done this, and I don't recommend it unless you love Volks as much as I do. Kept stock tires for now... probably can't go any larger because they're right at the fender line as it is.. don't want them to stick out.

Jim,

Details on your TSW Nurburgring 18s?

Width in all 4 corners?
Offsets for fronts/rears?
Spacers or rolled lips?

Looking for a track/winter wheel setup. TIA.

I have the same track wheels as thebigjimsho. There are photos of the 18" TSW Nurburgring setup here:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/2009-cadillac-cts-v-performance-mods/219814-looking-recommendations-road-track-tires-3.html
The wheels come in three color schemes: Bronze (which I have), Black, and black with machined silver face.

Is it true you have to drop the rear axle to fit the D3 spacers? Seems a lot of work..

...sorry to hijack this thread slightly :)

Hello,
We do offer a rear spacer kit that comes with studs. It will require you to remove the rear hub to properly press in the rear studs.

Thank you,
