Hey all- just purchased an 08 escalade with 70k miles. It did not come with the owners manual so im curious as to what caddy recommends as far as maintenance for the mileage. Any recommendations would be great

I'd change all the fluids, asap. Preferably starting with the front and rear diff. transfer case, Trans/filter, engine oil, etc.

Here is a list of the necessary fluids for each part:

Congratulations on your Escalade purchase! How exciting!

As far as recommended maintenance at 70,000 miles goes, this is just past the 50,000 mil "change engine air filter", "change transfer case fluid", and the "severe" service recommendation for the transmission fluid (if vehicle was driven in hilly or mountainous terrain, in a city where temperature regularly exceeds 90*F, or did a lot of towing). At 75,000 miles the only special recommendations are to inspect the fuel and exhaust systems for loose parts or leaks. The 100,000 mile mark is where the transmission fluid change (normal service) is recommended, as is the replacement of the spark plugs.

As your vehicle didn't come with an Owner's Manual, you can access an e-copy of it if you were to register at GMownercenter.com.

I hope this was useful for you! If you have further questions about your new Escalade, we'd be happy to answer as best we can.
