Help!
My 2007 STS Nav/Radio/CD/DVD systems is blank/dead. Took it to the Cadillac dealer. They said that they were getting no communication from the unit and the fuse checked good. Then they offered to to replace it for $2500.
It was installed new in November 2010. Still no other offers or warrenties. any Ideas, it appears that their is a fuse in the unit that has gone out. Thanks in advance for help.

So sorry to hear that, Ekyoung! I can look into this matter for you if you like, but I would need your name, VIN, and dealer to be able to investigate. I would be happy to email you if you don't mind giving out your email address. I'm sure the knowledgeable forum regulars will be replying shortly with their input, too.

Hi Katie,
I called Cadillac this morning and spoke with Michael. He has taken my data and is investigating the issue for me....So I'll wait for a response if you don't mind. Don't want to tie up resources on redundant efforts. Thanks for you response.

sounds a bit expensive, but i do know that these units are pricey ...

if they didn't disassemble your dash and get a visual ID of the part number of your nav radio then their price quote was just a guestimate and they were probably guessing on the high side to be safe
(we need to either scan the part number with the tech2 or visually ID it or we can't get an exact exchange price)

How do I find out what controls the power distribution to the 2007 Cadillac STS Nav/Radio. I can see illumination but get no response from the DVD, CD or Navigation unit. I verified that the RED/White wire has 12 VDC. I'm wondering is there a secondary control that allows the unit to power on when the car is in auxiliary or turned on.
My VIN #:C1G6DW677770128996
Nav/Radio
Bar Code: 86AZKJM862121137
Denso P/N: 19116990
9746819-572
S/N: 67701137
YKV295CKY2
GM P/N: 15939015

Just Heard back From Cadillac and Dealer. They offered me a 60/40 split....in other words $1600.00 to repair my fix my Nav/Radio. Don't have it....So I'm going to repair it myself or at least break the issue down to a lower cost solution. My daughter’s G6 had an issue where I replaced the 6 CD changer for $60 bucks in stead of the whole unit.

N*Caddy,
Can you help?

Can anyone provide me a wiring diagram and t/s procedure for the 2007 STS Nav/Radio the system is acting as if it's not receiving a turn on signal.

ekyoung, since you have decided not to pursue this any further with Cadillac, I copied the above two posts into a new thread in the STS forum. You will get more responses there. Here is a link to the new thread:
