If it is true the specs look good. Less than 3400 lbs. A 318-hp, 267-lb-ft, 3.6-liter V6 and two four-cylinders, one a turbocharged 270-hp, 260-lb-ft 2.0-liter and the other a naturally aspirated 200-hp, 188-lb-ft 2.5-liter. AWD is optional. Now they need to keep the price a little less than the BMW 328.

I heard a GM big-wig say they were going to price the ATS right at the competition (i.e. 3-series).

That is AMAZING info! I had never heard that before! I wish Cadillac Forums was more proactive in getting this information to the members here...

I've always liked big cars but if I was looking to buy a new Cadillac soon I would choose the ATS with the 3.6 over the XTS. No doubt.

That's because rear seat room is unimportant to you...

That, plus the fact that the ATS design seems tighter to me, and it will come with roughly the same options as the XTS and will be released with a 3.6L.

The ATS is a sports sedan. The XTS is a luxury sedan...

That is very true.

The next CTS will be somewhere in between as you can gather.

Rear leg room looked pretty decent to me, from what I could see.

I thought it was fine for a small sedan...

I thought it was fine for a small sedan...It looked "fine," but I worry that they had that front seat adjusted just right to get that look.

I also like a big car, but am pretty sure I would go ATS over XTS. I think Cadillac might have been better off keeping the DTS.

Except for width, the XTS has more interior room; other than styling (which of course is your discretion), it pretty much is a DTS (remodel). IMO

I was there :D

I sit pretty far forward. The front seat looked about where I would have it.
