I just picked up a 1991 Deville and i must say Good god this thing rides soooo nice... makes my escalade ride like crap :(

only problem is it has a factory BOSE casette player, and the owners manual says you could have gotten a cd player that year. Anyone upgrade thiers and want to sell it ?? i would love to keep it looking stock but with a cd player..

thanks guys

new deville owner :D

heh.... the my '79 rides alot better then the '93 (same car) and the '79 dosn't even ride as nice as some older models...

... the factory cdp are rare... and fail over time... unlike the factory cassette player, which belnds with the interrior nice... the cdp did not... so getting a factory one to keep the same look woudln't do you anything...

... just get an aftermarket HU.... but sicne you have the Bose system, it is going to be a real pain... since there is an amplifier on each speaker....

honestly, if it is just CD's you want to listen to... get an aftermarket RF-modulated CD-changer.. I think JVC makes one for $100 or so... 12 disc, and you keep the factory radio...

No fair because your air ride isn't functioning properly. ;) There is some road noise with these fwd cars, but they are VERY smooth. It is on par with the Grand Marquis I had.
