Just to see what the ratio is on the forum of manual to automatic this is what you actually bought and are driving today.

Sometimes, even though shifting is much fun I'll let a computer shift. Hell, I let one fly me and my family across the Atlantic I feel sure one will very adequately shift gears in a car.... :yup:

I expect auto V2's make up 90%+ of the population in the real world, it might be a bit higher on CF's though.

I specifically needed a manual to keep me from falling asleep in my commute.

After years of shifting Corvettes, loving the auto.

Even though the auto is faster, the manual will have a higher resale 20 years down the road as collector status. I prefer sticks anyway.

Manual (M6) is faster than the auto (A6) by 16 MPH (191 versus 175), but the auto is quicker in 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and stoplight to stoplight (illegal activity). Quite a few peeps feel that in a race from maybe 60 MPH the manual would win. No hard claims or facts on that one.

Had a manual M3, 350Z, CTS-V (2005)......very happy with auto V Coupe (plus get to put the cool paddle shifters on it now!)

Either one's a winner but I'm done shifting for now.

I'm loving the auto trans myself. My 2010 Camaro I just sold was a M6 with 650HP and it's nice to just cruise. Going to the track might be weird with the auto but 99% of the time I will be street driving and not tracking the big ole wagon.
