Hello everyone,

A few months back I bought a 1984 Cadillac Hearse the guy I bought it from told me that he had rebuilt the carb on it but I have had nothing but trouble with it.
I am looking at simplifying this problem and just buy a new edelbrock carburetor. I'm not looking for Horse power this car is really used a few months out of the year for my Haunted House.
What edelbrock carburetor would you recommend I already have an adapter plate for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You are way better off sticking with the original carb. Maybe someone can rebuild it again if that it the trouble.
What does the car do wrong?

Right now I cant get the car to run when it did run it would rev high after playing around with it i found that the back bottom butterflies are bent and they will not close at all. It also looks like there are some things missing on it also.

Where are you ???

Try www.allcarbs.com (http://www.allcarbs.com)

They do a lot of work for me on carbs for Olds 455's.

Look at the left column - rebuilt and old stock.
