Just ran across this listing on ebay. Looks to be a great deal. It's got a manual and Recaros and seems very well kept

Looks nice. Someone should jump on that one pretty quick.

When I saw the listing, I thought of posting it up here cause I know a lot of people come here looking for deals. I don't think it will get better than this. That's pretty cheap!

2009 is the best year for the V IMHO. Someone better jump on that sweet deal!

That's about what I paid for my 09 6M in March with similar mileage. Auto's at the time were $40-42K with less than 10K miles all day long, but manuals were harder to find. In '09 3035 total V's were built, 535 were manuals, and out of those maybe 50-60% had Recaros so the pool was pretty small. I wanted 6M thunder grey w/recaros, found a raven black locally and pulled the trigger.

I avoid these short description no-picture ads like the plague. only 3 pictures and a 2 sentence description for a $45K enthusiast car? Smells fishy when I'm looking at a new beater, let alone a V.

Curious to hear why you think 09 is the best year?

Agreed, put some effort into your listing, especially on a $45k ticket item. Some people are terrible salespeople though, so you never know. Either way, I would never roll the dice on spending $45k without having checked out whatever I'm buying in person with a fine toothed comb.

because it's the year he bought his car ! :D

He's acutally incorrect, 2011 is the best.

2012 models include Rainsense wipers(after a hiatus for 2011) and a backup camera(2011's had a backup camera, but no rainsense), if you want to say which is 'best' currently it's a 2012. Beyond the before mentioned items and the switch to ACDelco Blend for FF and the service program that started in 2011. There's no difference between the last 4 MY's

2010 didn't have Rainsense either. Hiatus for Rainsense was 2010 and 2011. I would say 2012 would be the best year since it has Rainsense. 2012 V Coupe now has blind spot warning system in side view mirrors as well. I guess my 2013 V Coupe will have everything the 2012s have as well as whatever other changes they have for the last year V Coupe. I don't see the 2013 Vs have any real changes though.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently shopping for a V and am trying to do as much homework as I can. ;)

This is an excellent deal for a manual transmission V!

I suppose since it's a manual, and that since it's "rare" it may be worth more. But I remember seeing 09 Auto's sell for the same price months ago.

LOL!

2009 seems the most reliable or at least has the fewest complaints on the board. :)
