Luddyludwick, I saw an early 80's Fleetwood Brougham on the road today that looked identical to yours. Same color, interior, d'Elegance, everything. THe only exception was the handicapped sticker in the window. It was like a perfect copy.

most around here are the 86 and up 307 powered Broughams like yours...
Speaking of yours, ours look pretty much alike, don't they? Or am I a victim of a poor memory...
Too bad if it's not an 84 or 85 that you saw...that means it only has 125 HORSEPOWER!!!!!!

I had a friend in HS that was big into ICP...not really my cup of tea, but still funny...hehe
Dope, gotta say I like your looks a little better...the paint ain't so good on mine (kinda orange-peely in a few places, I think), and I am a fan of the leather rather than velour (although it wouldn't be the same in this car because then it wouldn't be my g-pa's...RIP). Gotta love that nice grille on yours, though...I need a new one SO BAD!!!!
Got a friend here at WVU who has an '86 that's pretty rough...when I get mine back from the shop, I've threatened to drag race him...LOL! Can you picture an HT4100 and a 307 Brougham in a drag race? Kinda like the nursing home olympics or something!
Nice pics, too! Bet you wish you had the built in CB radio, though ;)

I wouldn't say anything negative about yours. The velour will last a hell of a long time but you could always pick up a set of leather pillow seats. My car was also repainted a little over 2 years ago. It's also Firemist paint to is tends to shine more. I do need a new vinyl top as mine is faded in a buncha spots and is starting to resemble tiny dalmation spots. The dye also tends to come off if I scrub it so that should be done sometime. Speaking of nursing home olympics, we had wheelchair races at my nursing home that I work at and that was fun. I pulled the little rubber things off the end of those two metal bars that stick straight out the back of wheelchairs to keep them from tipping back so they looked like dual exhaust pipes and the lady I was pushing won the races. That was funny, I kept making these idling noises when we were stationary, you know, that "wubwubwubwubwubwub" sound. They enjoyed that.
