Hello,
Yes, this hood is available in NON Carbon Fiber.

As for the air foil on the side skirts. We are working on something new for the Sedan that we will be testing at the racetrack shortly.

Dr. D...I really like that white coupe. Can you give me more info on the tire and wheel setup w/ sizes on that beast? Is it lowered using the D3 Competition springs? looks like more than .75" and 1.00" drop. Any rubbing issues (looks like it would)?

Hello,
Thanks!

Wheels are as follows:
# Modulare 20” M15 Forged Wheels
# Toyo Proxes 4 tires (front: 255/35ZR20; rear: 295/30ZR20)

Sitting on fully adjustable coilovers, hence the much lower than standard height lowering springs. Thats the street setup. Race height is slightly difference. No rubbing issues given the fitment we went with.

Thank you,

As for the full CF hood -
D3 | Ventilated Motorsport Hood

Elegance & the Motorsport Spirit are the key factors in the design philosophy of D3.

The D3 Ventilated Motorsport Hood replaces the OEM CTS-V hood with a lighter (nearly 8 lbs) carbon fiber hood. The Ventilated Hood is designed to extract heat allowing for cooler underhood temperatures. Additionally the hood is also designed to clear the largest blowers available including the 4.2L ULTRACHARGER kit.

$3295 MSRP | USD

If any car needs a heat extractor hood, it is the V2 CTS-V. I can park in the garage, come out 5 hours later, and the under hood temps seem like you just pulled it in. Heat soak!! I want your hood so bad!! I saw it in person at SEMA this year (sorry for the drool on your cars..lol). Im no slouch for spending money on my cars, but I just cant swing $3300 for a hood! I saw the price for the CF version on your website,, what would the non-CF version cost us?

For me, carbon fiber hood is too much for my taste plus my car is matte white... It would look just wrong... Im planning to order the non carbon hood, the front spoiler with the carbon blade under it and the comp. lowering kit. so i need to calculate my budget for one shipment (cheaper for me :D)

That car looks f**king sweet!
What's the widths and off-sets on thoes rims?
Did you have to roll the fenders? And what's different about your race height

Hello,
Please contact our offices for specific information regarding the wheels on the Legionnaire. We did not have to roll the fenders with this setup.

As for the race height, we actually raise the car up a tad bit.

Are your wheel spacers on the car?

Dr. Design
03-09-12, 07:03 PM
Hello,

If you are talking about the previous image showing the Black CTS-V and the Silver CTS-V, then yes, they are both running our wheel spacers on the front. They are also both running our square setup (295's on all four corners). Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

How do you run 295's in the front without modify fenders? What size wheels? Looks awesome on the track!!!!

thebigjimsho

I have 275 width track tires that are about as wide as the stock 285s. So I can see 295 tires working depending on wheels and offsets...

Dr. Design

We run a square wheel & tire setup. No mods required to the fenders. 9.5" wide rims on all fours. D3 wheel spacer kit.

I know it is literally on the drawing board. Not sure about a release date. Our development department is packed with a bunch of new product projects. Hopefully we can get a Coupe spoiler produced before the ATS stuff starts hitting.
