Hello All,

I am looking for advise or help in finding some new rims and tires for my wife's 2007 STS. The rim size on the car is a 17x7.5 with a tire 235/50/17. We have been looking at rims and she would like to stay low key, nothing to far from a stock look. The rims we like so far are linked below.

Let me know what you think or if you can recommend anywhere to pick up rims and tires cheap.

Thanks a bunch!

Definitely recommend the Yokhama Avid Invigor's. I've had them on my 2008 for almost two years and I love them. Bought them from tire rack. I haven't found any rims I like better than stock.

I think the choice of tire can be a very personal thing and almost always a compromise. For example:

What's your climate?

Secondly, are you more concerned about long wear & economy or a quiet and soft ride?

Third, what of the above traits are you willing to give up for performance, traction, etc? How much?

No one tire design can satisfy everybody because different people have their own preferences. What's more, differently equipped cars have different strengths and weaknesses. First decide on the traits the primary driver likes the most. Choose tires to maximize the strengths and minimize the weaknesses that are most important to that driver.
