maybe you should specify if its the 99-00 4WD or the 02+ AWD.

Estimated fuel economy: 2005 Escalade

MPG (city / hwy / combined)
13 / 17 / 15
14 / 18 / 16

MPIG (city / hwy / combined)
14 / 19 / 16

L/100km (city / hwy / combined)
19.9 / 14.8 / 17.6

If your looking for gas economy buy somthing smaller. The escalade weighs in excess of 5000 lbs. Tough to get 30 mpg.

the problem is, est. fuel economy and real world fuel economy are two different things.

I have an 02 and I do an average amount of driving. I spend about $65 CAN per week.....Not the best on gas but you kind of expect that when you buy a vehicle this size

Combined city and highway in my 2002 was around 14.5 (with 20" wheels and preditor programming), in 2004 about the same. When I switched back to 17" factory it when up to 16.5-17 mpg. I also added a the EXP4 fuel, oil and tranny additives from www.midwayautosupply.com which seemed to help, and eleminated a starting problem I was having.

p.s. I don't work or have any relationship with Midway etc...

I also like the ride of the factory wheels better.

On a recent trip through the Rockies we averaged 23 Mpg. Around town with my Wife's foot, we get about 15 Mpg. We spend about $55 every two weeks... Light driving here in Calgary.

Is your machine stock? Have you got the bling'd out wheels? You burnin' Premium or Regular. When was your last tune? 18.5... Ouch. But it is a nice ride ain't it?

We've got an all wheel drive 6.0l. We haven't been on a trip in a while, but when we do I'll be sure to keep track of the Mpg. Steady at 15 Mpg in the city.

Suppose to give more power. I first saw it on a car show that dyno'd an F150 before and after adding this stuff to the fuel tank, tranny, and oil. The saw 5% power increase, and were very impressed. They didn't say anything about fuel economy. It's seems to have more power, but no hard proof other than better mileage. They reference the car show as a testimonial at the website I mentioned. All in all I would do it again. Don't know how they do but it must be some slippery stuff. :)

Not to sound bitchy, but if you're that worried about mileage you should have got a Kia :)
Peace :lildevil: :hide:

23mpg?? This must not be the EXT or ESV (the man size versions!! (kidding))... The very best I have ever had was 18.5, open freeway cruise set to 70, running it for the full tank (just over 500 miles), just me and some bags.... How much you spend is related to how far you drive per week. I drive less than 200 miles a week so gas is approx $35 a week. On average 13.2, mix of city and hwy. 2003 EXT.

stock with stock wheels and premium gas. it's an EXT, so that might have a lot to do about it. i'm happy with 18.5, but would really like to get over 20.
