I am looking to buy some new rims and tires early next year and would like some help and input.

I am looking at getting Boss Wheels model 331 20 inch. My first question is would either of the following fit:

5 on 115mm +14 mm
5 on 4.25/115mm +30 mm
83183

I'm guessing the second one would but the "4.25" throws me off because I have no idea what that means.

Now for tires, I am looking at some Toyos. The two I am looking at are Proxes T1R and Proxes 4. Here is the following information on them:

Proxes T1R
245/35ZR20 95YRD OAD: 26.77 in.
245/40ZR20 99YRD OAD: 27.72 in.

Proxes 4
245/35ZR20 95WRD OAD: 26.76 in.
245/40ZR20 99WRD OAD: 27.64 in.

Now I am thinking the Proxes 4. But for either of those tires would the 27 inch plus diameter fit with no rubbing?

I hope that makes sense and thanks for the help.

I have a set of Boss wheels with a Nitto NT555 245/35ZR/20 95W... on a 2008STS4 I have never had any problems with any rubbing while turning or bumbs.... But I lost A LOT of ride quality. I didn't notice it until I switched back to stock (Winter coming)... But the biggest problem I had is I blew out both front shock absorbers. I don't know if it was from the weight of the wheels with poor road quality...OR just the weight.... I got lucky,... IT was covered under warranty... if I would have had to pay it would have costed me $1,800.... Just thought I would let you know the problem I just had....

Thanks I appreciate the in put. That is something I didn't think about.

Can anyone recommend me something similar to that style of rim with less weight?

they should be less in weight than stock. the prob might have been an improper wheel aliment. and air.
anything under ???/45/20 will not rub and give you full wheel turn. :) the ride will vary because of less rubber.
try to find a tire with enough rubber side wall and you should be ok.
